Lifecycle definitions
- End of Order (EOO) Date
- The final date on which a hardware or software product can be ordered. After this date, the product is no longer available for sale. Infinicore will publish an End of Life (EOL) notification at least 90 days before the EOO date.
- Last Service Extension Date (LSED)
- The final date on which a new support or security subscription contract, or an extension of an existing contract, can be ordered for a product that is no longer available for sale. The LSED is three years after the product’s End of Order (EOO) date and one year before its End of Support (EOS) date. No service contract may extend beyond the EOS date.
- End of Engineering Support Date (EoES)
- The date on which standard engineering support ends for a software release. Engineering support is provided for 36 months from the general availability (GA) date of each major or minor release, followed by an additional 18 months of support limited to critical issues requiring a fix (“Must Fix” support). Support applies to the latest patch of each eligible major or minor release.
- End of Support Date (EOS)
- The final date on which a product is eligible for support. After this date, Infinicore no longer sells, manufactures, or improves the product, and support services are no longer provided. Hardware products reach EOS one year after LSED, or four years after their EOO date.
- Long-Term Supported Firmware (LTS)
- A designated firmware release with a support lifecycle of 72 months from general availability, including an additional 18-month urgent-fix phase ending on the Extended End of Support (EEOS) date. Access to LTS firmware and support during the extended period requires an eligible support contract purchased and registered in advance.
