Senior Software Engineer

Infinicore is currently looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our R&D team. You will work with several technologies, mainly L2/L3 networking, Software Defined Networking (SDN) along with security-related devices and functionalities. You will take ownership of a significant project and challenge yourself to be a creative and best problem solver. Additionally you will be working with QA engineers to develop test plans and resolve issues.

Job responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware, software engineers, and product management to deliver quality software subsystems.
• Contribute to performance, availability, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Participate in all phases of the product design life cycle, from development to maintenance.

Job skills required

• 3 years or more experience in the networking industry.
• Solid Linux application programming skills in C.
• Strong knowledge of Unix operating systems.
• Problem-solving and debugging skills with systematic analysis.
• Proven ability to develop products from concept to production.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams.
• Knowledge in packet processing, firewall, IDS, IPS is a plus.
• Knowledge in switch and network processors is a plus.
• Knowledge in Ethernet technology including MAC and PHY is a plus.
• Familiarity with Ruby is a plus.
• Communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
