Quality Assurance Engineer

Infinicore is currently looking for an experienced Software Development QA Engineer to join our R&D team. You will work with several technologies, mainly L2/L3 networking, Software Defined Networking (SDN) along with security-related devices and functionalities. You will also be working on developing test plans and automated, script-based test automation systems. You will be exposed to a wide range of networking technologies and further progress your career in this field.

Job responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware, software engineers and field support engineers throughout the development life cycle.
• Verify, reproduce, communicate, and track defects from testing.
• Participate in all phases of testing from planning, developing, executing, and revising plans and scope.

Job skills required

• 2 years or more experience in the networking industry.
• Proven ability to develop product test plans based on product specifications.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams.
• Good time management and self-motivation.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies (black box, white box) and types of tests.
• Experience analyzing defects through functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with Ruby is a plus.
• Communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
